Lightweight machines (1.3K) powered by new Vflex technology. Using Digital technology with a small amount of analogue circuitry calibrated to obtain outstanding sensitivity & stability to match the performance of the digital processing.
All machines will be fitted with a 9" Concentric search coil, with which the machine will run at 7.5Khz.
Each is powered by 4 x AA batteries, with an expected life of 25 hours detecting time.
Set up is by means of a touch control pad, with a large screen, which can be unplugged to allow easier transportation.

Minelab Sovereign GT
The latest in the Minelab Sovereign Range.
The same slimline control box of the Elite, but in "Quattro" Blue.
Broad Band Spectrum technology, with the option of fixed or manual ground adjust. Fitted with a 2 band noise cancel facility, for those areas where there is outside interference. In disc mode the GT uses digital filtering to compensate for ground effects and the Track/Fix/Pinpoint function is disabled.
Threshold setting is done in pinpoint mode, which the user can opt to retain or run silently. When running with a threshold tone, the GT will retain as it's threshold the tone ID of the last target. There is also the option of Iron Mask On/Off. In the On position searching in junky areas is made easier and will give a better depth capability, but as the threshold is more unstable in this mode, beginners or when working heavily mineralised soils, may find operation is easier in the Off position.

Minelab Quattro
The latest model to enter the Minelab range utelising Full Band Spectrum(FBS).
Some would describe this as the simplified version of the Explorer, but there is much more to the Quattro than that. Yes it is more user friendly for those who find the programming of the Explorer a problem, having 4 preset programmes to which can be added a further 4 by making adjustments to those programmes.

Minelab Excalibur

This is the fully waterproof diver model in the Minelab range. Similar in its operation to the Sovereign Elite, but can only be run in multi tone and without the facility to switch frequencies. Again the control box/battery pack can be hip/chest mounted with the appropriate kit.
